About the Site
I always thought that I would major in computer science or some other branch of computers/technology and even began college as a double major, but quickly found that music is where true fulfillment lies, at least for me. However, I never was able to escape my technology-based background, which began with webpage building and PC maintenance in middle school. I am including technical information about this website for two main reasons: your curiosity and my own web portfolio.
I am currently employed as a lab assistant at the Eastman School of Music computer lab and spend most of my time there either seeing how Vista stands up for potential deployment or programming front and back-end for the Graduate Student Association and the Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music Department. For more information about my academic and musical studies, please refer to the biography and resume links to the left.
Most of this site is managed via Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 for coding, previewing, and SFTP purposes. This template has been modified from the WordPress theme "Orange Swirl" to accomodate my needs. The contact form and the audio player are currently the only sources of outside code, though I expect the photo gallery to also become a part of that. I am currently exploring the idea of using a database to manage and dynamically produce the upcoming and past events.
